Ignition off.
Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
Ignition on.
Depress the brake pedal. Move the gear selector to the position for manual shifting and check that the status changes.
Move the gear selector to + and check that the gear selection is updated in the display on the driver information module (DIM).
Move the gear selector to -. Check that the gear selection is updated.
