Checking The Component
- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector in the heater.
Measure the resistance of overheat protection thermostat terminals #C5 and #C6.
Measure the resistance of engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor terminals #C3 and #C4.
Compare the measured resistance values with the values in the component specification.
Remedy as necessary.
