System Overview: Deadlock

Function for deadlock mode (BLL) is optional and is only available in combination with alarm and only on certain markets. Deadlock mode (BLL) means that the inner door handles have been disconnected. This means that a side door cannot be opened from the inside even if a window should be broken. Deadlock mode (BLL) is activated 10 seconds after the vehicle has been locked. The function can be disengaged via the menu in Infotainment control module (ICM).
