Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-9200

Condition 

The steering wheel module (SWM) checks the signals from the buttons on the cruise control. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the steering wheel module (SWM) registers a fault in one of the signals from the cruise control buttons or if one of the buttons has been pressed in for too long.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the engine is idling.

Substitute Value 

• The cruise control is disengaged when the fault is active.

Possible Source 

• Fault trace the steering wheel module (SWM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Cruise control does not function at all.
