Make sure that the air intake and/or outlet of the alternator is not blocked.
HINT: The function of the alternator can be checked by performing Quick test of the alternator function under VIDA/VEHICLE COMMUNICATION/CEM/Advanced/General. If the diagnostic trouble code recurs after operation, try a new alternator.
