• Ignition off.

Check the intake system for air leakage and loose charge-air pipe.

Does the problem persist? 

• YES 

  Refer to CHECKING HOSES AND THE TURBOCHARGER (TC) CONTROL VALVE 

• NO 

  Refer to VERIFICATION
