Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information PHM-0022

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0022 is stored if the phone module (PHM) registers that there is a short-circuit to +12 V in the power supply to the handset.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0022 can be diagnosed with the ignition on (not key position 3) and when the battery voltage is 9-16 V.

Substitute Value 

• Only hands-free operates.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to +12 V in the wiring (power supply) to the handset from the phone module (PHM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• The carphone handset is not working.
