Replacing The Component

• Replace the sun roof motor. See ELECTRIC MOTOR, SUN ROOF, REPLACING .
• Ignition off
• Reinstall the components and connectors etc.
• Ignition on.

After carrying out repairs, the sun roof module (SRM) should be calibrated. See SUN ROOF MODULE (SRM), CALIBRATING .

Check that automatic closing of the sun roof works by pressing forward the switch 2 steps.

Does the automatic closing of the sun roof work? 

• YES 

  Refer to VERIFICATION 

• NO 

  Refer to REPLACING THE COMPONENT

• Ignition off

  Replace the sun roof control module according to CONTROL MODULE, SUN ROOF, REPLACING .

• Continue 

  Refer to VERIFICATION
