Rear Seat Entertainment Module (RSE)

The Rear seat entertainment module (RSE) is the central module for rear seat entertainment. The control module is located above the glove box.

The control module interprets and performs the commands given by the user via remote control or via the keypad on the Climate control module (CCM). these commands are forwarded to the Rear seat entertainment module (RSE). The Rear seat entertainment module (RSE) also distributes current to the system's other components.

The Rear seat entertainment module (RSE) distributes audio and video signals from the A/V panel or from the integrated audio module's (IAM) DVD player, USB input or AUX input or digital TV from the Television Module (TVM). One screen can playback media from the A/V AUX panel at the same time as the other screen plays back digital TV or media from the DVD, USB or AUX panel, and vice versa.

There is an internal CAN network between the Rear seat entertainment module (RSE)and the screens for the transfer of information. This CAN network is not connected to the vehicles ordinary CAN network.
