ALCOLOCK, Counter By-Pass (2008-)

The alcolock has an internal counter that stores the number of times that the system has been by-passed. When the counter reaches the maximum value of 255, it will not reset automatically and will not increase with further by-passes. Resetting is performed using VIDA (Volvo Scan Tool)/vehicle communication.
