PHM-U210909: Back-Up Battery. General Failure Information. Component Failures (2009-12): Fault-Tracing: Verification

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.

• Ignition off.
• Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
• Ignition on.

Erase and read out DTCs by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.

A spare battery check will be performed in connection with reading off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

Check that the diagnostic trouble code has disappeared or changed status to intermittent.

Is the carphone working? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
