Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information Mmm-B1D5514
Condition
The multimedia module (MMM) checks DC voltage on the signal cable from the antenna amplifier. the traffic message channel (TMC) is transmitted via the antenna amplifier to the TMC receiver in the Multimedia module (MMM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Direct current (DC) is too high or there is no direct current (DC).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
- Request for self-test.
NOTE:
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Possible Source
- Open circuit on signal cable.
- The signal cable is short-circuited to ground.
- Damaged antenna amplifier.
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose connections.
