TCM-P170164: Reverse Engagement Error. Algorithm Based Failures. Signal Plausibility Failure (B6304T2, TF-80SC AWD; 2009-2010): Fault-Tracing: Verification: Verification

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.

• Ignition off.
• Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
• The gear shift position sensor for the transmission must be calibrated if the control module has been disconnected.
• Start the engine.

  Test drive the vehicle following:TEST DRIVE SCHEDULE, DESCRIPTION

  Check that the transmission does not display any obvious  function faults.

  NOTE:

  When test driving, the oil temperature must be above 20 °C.

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.
