Sum-U20164A: Control Module Main Software. System Internal Failures. Incorrect Component Installed (2008-2012): Fault-Tracing: Verification

HINT: After repairing, it is necessary to check that the malfunction has been fixed.

• Ignition off
• Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
• Test drive the vehicle and then read off the fault status of the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) without switching off the engine.
  NOTE:

  The scope of the test drive can vary and must be adjusted according to the conditions for the test in diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information.

  Check that the diagnosis is "Implemented" and that the trouble status is "No malfunction found". If the trouble status is "Malfunction found", this indicates defective function.

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
