Checking The Sensor

Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) checks the voltage to the switch for the tailgate's external handle.

Check status for the external handle by clicking on the symbol for VCT2000 in VIDA (Volvo scan tool). Status shall show pressed in when you press in the handle, and released when you do not press the handle.

If status shows pressed in even if there is no evident action, check the external handle with regards to the sensor having been displaced.
