Condition 

The Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) checks the voltage over motor closing, boot lid.

The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the control module detects:

• Incorrect signal voltage from the closing motor.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Activated closing of the tailgate's lock unit.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open circuit.
• Damaged closing motor.

• Tailgate/trunk lid/Power locking does not work
• Tailgate/trunk lid/Hard to close
• Tailgate/trunk lid/Automatic opening/closing does not work
