Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information SWM-0033

Condition 

The steering wheel module (SWM) continuously checks the system components.

The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the control module detects:

• A fault when testing the intermittent wiper switch for the windscreen.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when:

• Ignition on.

Substitute Value 

• If the windscreen wiper is in active mode, the wiper works at low speed.

Possible Source 

• Damaged switch for intermittent windscreen wiper.
• Internal fault in the control module.
