Checking The Control

HINT: The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the steering wheel module (SWM) has registered that the button for the cruise control at start up has been depressed for more than 60 seconds. 

Check that the button/switch does not stick in the activated position.

HINT: Read off the relevant button/switch and check the function. 

Remedy as necessary.
