To ensure that the control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code has been run, the heating coil must first be activated and then deactivated.

Click on the symbol for VCT2000 in VIDA (Volvo scan tool) to activate and then deactivate the heating coil.

Then check the diagnostic trouble code.

Read out the diagnostic trouble codes in the vehicle via the DIAGNOSTICS tab in VIDA. VIDA is Volvo-specific scan tool.

Does the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) recur? 

• YES 

  Refer to INFORMATION 

• NO 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.
