Checking The Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCS)

Invalid or incorrect data has been received from another control module via the CAN-net. Check the transmitting control module for diagnostic trouble codes and any errors.

The diagnostic trouble code may also be generated in case of error in CAN-communication. In the event of a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for a communication fault in the relevant control module, any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in the central electronic module (CEM) must also be checked.

Remedy as necessary.
