Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CCM-B105A96

Condition

In order that the passenger compartment temperature sensor shall not be affected by surrounding electronics, a fan blows air from the passenger compartment at the sensor. Climate control module (CCM) checks the status of the fan and temperature sensor in the passenger compartment. The status is determined by the frequency of one electric signal.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

The signal's frequency falls below 30 Hz for longer than two minutes.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

Ignition switch position I and II.

None.

Possible Source

Blocked or binding fan or fan motor.
Open-circuit in the power supply cable.
