Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CCM-B10884A

Condition

Climate control module (CCM) both sends and receives information via standardized serial communication - LIN (Local Interconnect Network). Climate control module (CCM) checks the status of LIN-bus 2. The following components communicate on LIN bus 2:

Damper motor module (DMM) temperature right.
Damper motor module (DMM) defroster.
Seat heating module (SHM), front right only applies if there is no seat heating module (SHM) ventilation.
Seat heating module (SHM), right ventilation option/accessory
Seat heating module (SHM), rear right. Option/accessory
Humidity sensor. Option/accessory

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

The configuration-id for some control module connected to the bus does not match the expected value.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

Ignition switch position II.

Incorrect configuration ID (the control module is not intended for this vehicle, for example it is a used control module with different software/hardware).
