Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information BCM-C006464

Condition

NOTE:

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) only applies to vehicles with roll control (RSC).

The Body sensor cluster stability sensor (BSC) provides the Brake control module (BCM) with information about the lateral acceleration, the forward acceleration and yaw-angle speed of the vehicle. The Body sensor cluster stability sensor (BSC) transmits the information to the Brake control module (BCM) via the internal controller area network (CAN). Each sensor has an offset value, correction value, for the individual sensor offset.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

NOTE:

The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

NOTE:

This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not due to an internal hardware fault in the Brake control module (BCM) and must not be remedied by replacing the control module.
