Checking The Status

• Ignition on.

  There are three possible reasons for the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) being stored.

  1. Angle sensor not calibrated.
  2. The control module is in service mode.
  3. Installation check not carried out.

  Read out status by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol in VIDA (Volvo scan tool).

  HINT: Reading off cannot be carried out if the installation check has been carried out. 

  If the angle sensor is not calibrated, perform calibration using VIDA (Volvo scan tool).

  If the control module is in service mode, exit service mode.

  To carry out the installation check, use VIDA (Volvo scan tool).

  Remedy as necessary.
