Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information PBM-U040562

Condition 

The control module is continually supplied with necessary information from the Forward Sensing Module (FSM) via CAN communication. The control module checks the communication with the Forward Sensing Module (FSM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• The transmitting control module requests the Park Brake Module (PBM) to apply the park brake at the same time that the vehicle maintains a greater speed than what the Park Brake Module (PBM) accepts to apply the park brake.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Engine started.
