Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information FSM-U201A51
Condition
Forward Sensing Module (FSM) checks the software in the control module. The control module is pre-loaded with standard files from the factory. After replacing control module, new software must be downloaded.
- The DTC is initially set and erased first after completed software download.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
- Control module supplied with power for at least 5 seconds.
NOTE:
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
