Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information HLDF-U045768

Condition

The Supplemental restraint system module (SRS) continually supplies necessary information from the Infotainment control module (ICM) via CAN communication. The control module checks the quality of the information from the Infotainment control module (ICM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

Transmitting control module indicates a lower quality level of information than the High Level Display Front (HLDF) accepts.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

Ignition switch position II.

NOTE:

The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
