Checking the wiring

Ignition off
Disconnect connector C on the rear electronic module (REM)
Disconnect connector D on the rear electronic module (REM).
Check the signal cable. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Take readings between:
- Rear electronic module (REM) terminal #C11 (#51) and terminal #5 on the position sensor for the Xenon lamp
- Rear electronic module (REM) terminal #D14 (#14) and gas temperature sensor terminal #1.
