Checking the component and cable
- Ignition off.
Check the cable between control module terminal #1B and ignition switch terminal #S (#3). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Remedy as necessary.
Other information:
- The voltage must be the same as battery voltage if the key is in position 0, I, II or III
