Checking the wiring

• Ignition on.

  Check the wiring between side acceleration sensor connector:

  • #1 and control unit #40 (#A40)
  • #2 and control unit #9 (#A9)
  • #3 and control unit #25 (#A25)

  for an open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults , and a short circuit to voltage supply as described in Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

  Check also that the side acceleration sensor is correctly fitted and that the bracket is attached properly.
