Checking Components And Wiring
- Ignition off.
Check the connectors for the Suspension Module (SUM) and the solenoids. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
For diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0207, control module, internal fault:
- Check the cable for power supply between suspension module (SUM) terminal #A6 and front left solenoid terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground
- Check the cable for power supply between suspension module (SUM) terminal #A9 and front right solenoid terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground
- Check the cable for power supply between suspension module (SUM) terminal #A2 and rear left solenoid terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground
- Check the cable for power supply between suspension module (SUM) terminal #A5 and rear right solenoid terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Check all the solenoids by measuring the resistance between terminals #1 and #2. Check for a short-circuit.
Try a new control module if no fault is found in the wiring or solenoids.
Remedy as necessary.
