Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

The yaw rate sensor transmits a signal to the ABS control module. This signal indicates the extent and direction of yaw. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-00A1 is stored if the control module registers that the signal from the yaw rate sensor is outside its permitted range.

Substitute Value 

• The anti-spin function is blocked.
• The stability function is blocked.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the wiring.
• The wiring is short-circuited to ground or supply voltage.
• Loose yaw rate sensor.
• Defective yaw rate sensor.
• Defective control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Anti-spin does not function.
• No stability function.
• Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
