Checking The Wiring And Component

- Ignition off
- Open the transmission control system.
Check connector C (22-pin) for the transmission control module (TCM). Check for contact resistance. Check for oxidation.
Check the cable between transmission connector terminal #C2 and the connector for solenoid S2. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
HINT: Check solenoid S2 by taking a reading of the resistance between the solenoid connector and ground with the ignition off, the transmission connector C (22-pin) disconnected and the breakout box connected. For the resistance values, see below.
