Faulty Signal: Verification: Verification

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied. 

• Test drive the car and perform a TRIP schedule, see: VERIFYING REPAIRS
• Connect VCT2000 to the data link connector (DLC) without switching off the engine.
  NOTE:

  If the engine is switched off, the stored fault status will be erased and the test drive will have to be repeated.

  Read off the diagnostic status and the fault status for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

  Check that the diagnostic is "Completed" and that the fault status is "No fault detected". The function is faulty if the fault status is "Fault found".

Is the status of the fault "No fault detected"? 

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
