The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the infotainment control module (ICM) registers that the temperature sensor in the display is not functioning correctly.

The function for warming up the display is switched off as long as the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored. This means than the display will light slowly in cold conditions.

• Damaged sensor.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The display lights slowly.
