Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-3F93

Condition 

The central electronic module (CEM) checks the voltage in the signal cable from the accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the signal is too low.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed with the ignition in positions I or II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
• Damaged accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Engine feels sluggish
• No accelerator pedal (AP) response.
