Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Condition 

The Engine control module (ECM) checks the signal from the oil level sensor.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• Signal from oil level sensor is too high or too low.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Engine running.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable.
• Damaged oil level sensor.
