Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-1100

Condition

A fault message is transmitted to the engine control module (ECM) and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if a fault in the outside temperature sensor is detected by the central electronic module (CEM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

Substitute Value 

• This temperature is used if no fault has been detected on the intake temperature sensor
• The constant 20 °C is used if a fault has also been detected on the intake temperature sensor.

Possible Source 

• Fault trace the central electronic module (CEM).
