Checking The Status

• Ignition on.

  Check the signal level from the clutch pedal sensor.

  Click on the VCT2000 symbol to read off the signal level.

  Slowly depress and release the clutch. Note a change in the signal level.

  The voltage level in the clutch pedal sensor must be between 0.15 and 4.75 volts.

  HINT: If the signal from the clutch pedal sensor indicates >4.75 volts, there is either an open-circuit in the cable or the clutch pedal sensor is defective.

• YES

• NO
