Checking The Wiring

Ignition off
Disconnect the connector for the global positioning system module (GPS).
Check the terminal. Check for contact resistance. Check for loose connections. Check for oxidation.

Check the antenna cable between the global positioning system module (GPS) and the GPS antenna. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Remedy as necessary.
