Engine Block, Installing Components (B6304T2, B6304T4): Installing

INSTALL 

Install the following items: 

1. oil trap.

   Torque:  M6

   10 Nm

2. water pipe.

   Torque:  M7

   17 Nm

3. thermostat housing.

   Torque:  M6

   10 Nm

Install the following items: 

1. ignition coils.

   Torque:  M6

   10 Nm

2. fuel rails/fuel injectors.

   Torque:  M6

   10 Nm

3. the sensor

   Torque:  M6

   10 Nm

4. cover crankcase ventilation.

   Torque:  M6

   10 Nm

5. lifting eyes.

   Torque:  M10

   50 Nm

INSTALL 

Install the cable harness.

Torque:  M6

10 Nm

INSTALL 

Install the generator. See ALTERNATOR AND REGULATOR - REMOVAL, REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION

INSTALL 

Install the intake manifold. See INDUCTION PIPE

INSTALL 

Remove the engine from the work stand.

INSTALL 

Install the carrier plate. See CARRIER PLATE (2008-2009) or CARRIER PLATE (2010-12)

INSTALL 

Install the transaxle. See TRANSMISSION - REMOVAL, REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION

INSTALL 

Install the following items: 

• water pipe (5).

  Torque:  M6

  10 Nm

• AC-console (4), console transmission (3), front auxiliary unit console (2). See ACCESSORY DRIVE COMPONENT BRACKET (B6304T2) or ACCESSORY DRIVE COMPONENT BRACKET (B6324S, B6324S5)
• radiator hose (1)

INSTALL 

Install the engine. See ENGINE, INSTALLING
