Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information IAM-U300055

Condition

The integrated audio module (IAM) uses settings from the vehicle configuration file in the central electronic module (CEM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

Invalid or faulty data obtained from the vehicle configuration file.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

Activated control module.

NOTE:

The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Possible Source

The vehicle's configuration is incorrect.
The Integrated Audio Module (IAM) is not intended for this vehicle, for example a used control module with different software/hardware has been used.
