Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information PSCM-U300019
Condition
Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) monitors the current to the pump motor.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The pump motor's power consumption is too high.
- Incorrect value runs longer than 1 second.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
NOTE:
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- Mechanical or hydraulic fault in the power steering system (example: steering gear, hoses or pipes blocked).
- Damaged Power Steering Control Module (PSCM).
