Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information PSCM-U041868

Condition

The control module is continuously supplied with information about the vehicle's speed from the Brake control module (BCM) via CAN-communication. he control module checks the quality of the information from the Brake control module (BCM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

Information from Brake control module (BCM) is incorrect/unreasonable.
Incorrect value lasts longer than 2 seconds.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

Ignition switch position II.
Battery voltage between 9 - 18 V.

NOTE:

The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

The vehicle speed signal is set as a default value.
