Checking Components And Connections
WARNING:
Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected non-deployed adaptive steering column. The adaptive steering column could deploy
- Ignition off, wait for 15 seconds.
The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) detects that the adaptive steering column is connected to the control module.
The adaptive steering column must not be connected to the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
- Remove the connector/component.
