Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-U300A68

Condition 

Engine control module (ECM) checks ignition at engine shut-off.

The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the control module detects that:

• -button is pressed in.
• The vehicle is stationary.
• The ignition is not activated within 1 second.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code starts in the event of:

• -button is pressed in.
• The vehicle is stationary.

Substitute Value 

• Engine control module (ECM) closes off fuel supply to shut off the engine.

Possible Source 

• Open circuit on cable between Start control module (SCU) and central electronic module (CEM).
• Damaged Start Control Unit (SCU).
