Ignition off
Disconnect connectors A and F on the rear electronic module (REM).
Check the signal cable. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

For the S80 and S60

Take readings between:
- Rear electronic module (REM) terminal #A6 (#6) and terminal #1 on the connector for the high level stop lamp.
