Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information Sub-0023

Condition 

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the subwoofer module (SUB) registers that the signal on the signal cable to the coil in the subwoofer is too high or too low.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when Subwoofer module (SUB) is activated.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable between the amplifier and voice coil in the bass loudspeaker.
• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable between the amplifier and voice coil in the bass loudspeaker.

Fault symptom[s] 

• No sound from subwoofer
