Checking The Component And Wiring

Check central electronic module (CEM) connector terminal E and integrated relay/fusebox (engine compartment) connector. Check for contact resistance. Check for oxidation. Check for damage. Check for loose connections. Also check the intermediate connectors.

Check the signal cable. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Take readings between:

• Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #E10 (#10) and the engine compartment integrated relay/fusebox #37.

Remedy as necessary.
