Checking The Control

The fault code is generated when a button or switch has been pressed for a long time. No further corrective action is required if the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is intermittent and does not recur.

Check that the button or switch does not stick in the activated position.

Check the cable between the Convertible Roof Module (CRM) #F11 (#B31)and control roof opening for short-circuit to ground.

Read off the relevant button or switch. Activate reading off the parameters by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol. Check the function.

Remedy as necessary.
